Kids Program

Our Kids Jiu Jitsu program builds up the children’s confidence and, as where most programs rely on striking the attacker with violent punches and kicks, we at Legion MMA take a different approach. We will teach your child techniques which they can utilize for defensive purposes, and we urge our pupils to defuse confrontations with words. If that fails, we teach the kid’s techniques which will non-violently neutralize their threat and control the situation until help arrives.

Adult Program

Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts focusing on grappling and ground fighting. It teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by applying joint-locks and chokeholds. Jiu Jitsu can be trained for self-defense, grappling tournaments or it can be used as a great way to get back in shape!

Muay Thai Kickboxing

Muay Thai kickboxing is a form of martial art utilizing stand up striking and various clinch Muay Thai techniques. It is referred to as the science of eight limbs because it uses punches kicks elbow and knee strikes as opposed to kickboxing’s four points which are the hands and feet. If you have never tried Thai Boxing before, you will find it an extremely effective way to get fit all while having great time doing it.

Judo Program

In Judo, the primary objects is to throw or takedown one’s opponent to the ground and immobilize or subdue the opponent with a grappling move. The sport is best known for its spectacular throwing techniques, but it also involves considerable amounts of grappling utilizing control holds, arm locks, and choke techniques. Judo emphasizes safety and full physical activity for top conditioning and it appeals to people from all walks of life.
